It is a self-expanding, nitinol (nickel-titanium alloy) stent that presents an excellent wall apposition and contour-ability thanks to a fine mesh structure.
It presents the Bard S.A.F.E. delivery system that provides lots of benefits and is compatible with 0.014" and 0.018" guidewires.
The multifunctional braided catheter features excellent trackability and the tip-to-outer catheter design is defined by a soft, atraumatic catheter tip formed from the outer sheath, which retracts over stent rather than through the stent, creating a true tipless inner catheter.
The patent pending "tipless" inner catheter reduces the risk of catheter entanglement that may happen after stent deployment.
This stent is pre-mounted on a 6 Fr rapid-exchange delivery system, with a working length of 135cm. Three radiopaque markers make stent deployment easier and more accurate.
The Conformexx is available only in cylindrical configuration.
