CRISTALLO IDEALE

Is a self-expanding stent system composed of a nickel titanium alloy (Nitinol).
On each end of the stent there is a radiopaque Tantalum marker to facilitate stent visualization under fluoroscopy.
The stent is laser cut from a non-welded nitinol tube and a smooth surface with no overlapping struts is obtained after electro-polished treatment.
Cristallo Ideale has been specifically designed to provide high flexibility prior to stent deployment and, after implantation in the vessel, adequate radial strength to maintain vessel patency.
A differentiated scaffolding along the stent structure prevents plaque prolapse.
Open cell design in the proximal and distal section of the stent increases conformability also in case of a very tortuous anatomy.
Close cell design, in the middle portion of the stent, prevents plaque prolapse.
The stent system is based on an inner shaft and outer sheath attached to a sliding tube component inside a molded polymer handle.
The Cristallo Ideale is deployed by gently pulling back the deployment button. Two markers, placed on the inner sheath, indicate the position of the constrained stent facilitating its correct deployment. The 0.014" monorail delivery system, 135 cm in length, presents a very low-profile with high pushability and is compatible with a 5 Fr introducer. The stent is available both in straight or tapered design with different calibre and length.
The stent is MRI safe and does not interfere with the operation of an MRI device with no imaging artefacts.
