FILTER WIRE EZ

It is a temporary intra-vascular 0.014" guidewire filtration system that is placed distal to the target lesion.
The system consists of a protection wire (190 cm in length), a delivery sheath, a retrieval sheath and some accessories.
A nitinol wire loop allows a 360° apposition also in tortuous anatomy, reducing particle drift between filter loop and vessel wall.
A particular suspended loop design allows the filter to be placed both in straight and curved vessels.
The filter presents a polyurethane coating with multiple 110 µm pores.
Once the collapsed device is placed over the lesion, it is deployed by retracting the delivering sheath.
After the procedure the filter is closed using a covering sheath and then it is retrieved.
The delivery catheter presents a low profile (3.2 Fr) with a high flexible tip and a smooth transition simplifying delivery.
The system is compatible with 6 Fr guiding catheter (0.075" I.D - 1.91 mm).
An EZ Bent Tip Retrieval sheath, with a shaped tip, is also available to facilitate filter removal in case of tortuous anatomy.
The floppy tip of the wire and the filter loop are radiopaque to enable visual guidance during placement.
The system is intended to be used with a vessel diameter ranging between 3.5 and 5.5 mm.
