RUBICON

The Rubicon shows a unique design and is the only filter with a dedicated delivery catheter.
The filter is mounted on a steerable 0.014" guidewire, with 100 µm pores.
It is available in different sizes ranging from 4 to 6 mm with a very low profile (2.1 - 2.7 Fr).
The volume of the filter is increased thanks to its long tapered cone design and no delivery catheter is required because of its coaxial actuating wire design that allows the stent to be pre-loaded on the filter wire and delivered in a onestep insertion of both devices.
The free-floating struts have three radiopaque markers and are planned to grant consistent apposition to tortuous arteries. The distal tip is highly radiopaque and shape-adaptable.
The capture catheter has a large bore sleeve designed to contain the collapsed filter and the debris trapped inside it.
Telescopes are provided over the filter basket to minimize the filter movement during the retrieval phase.
The system is 6 Fr guiding catheter compatible.
