TRAP FILTER

The E-Trap filter is made of a nitinol net at the distal end of a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coated 0.014-inch wire.
The filter, with 100 µm pores, is mounted on a 2.9F catheter and is available in different diameters ranging between 2.5 and 7 mm.
The retrieval catheter presents different diameters depending on the filter size: 5F (4-mm filter) or 6F (5-mm filter).
A proprietary heparin, coating both filter and funnel (Heprotec), allows the instruments to remain inside the vessel for 60 minutes without thrombin or fibrin adhesion to the nitinol net.
The system is compatible with a 6 Fr guiding catheter.
